What’s your wildest erotic wish?
For Piper, that’s easy. Two alpha males who ravish her and find her curves beyond luscious. She knows her type isn’t for every man—certainly not Guy and Joel, right? Guy’s tall, dark and sinfully virile. Joel’s blond and bronzed. They’re freaking sex gods, escorts her friend hired so Piper’s thirtieth birthday is unforgettable. Their carnal games awaken Piper’s sensuality, while her voluptuous figure and sweet vulnerability fuel both men’s animal hunger.
One evening of decadent pleasure isn’t enough. Piper aches to perform ménage acts with them for clients who like curvy women. A wicked idea, except for her family’s ties with law enforcement, the threat of exposure. Is her threesome worth the risk?
Hell yeah. By day, she’ll be good. At night, she’ll explore her men in every lusty way imaginable.
First I would like to mention that I hardly give a 5 poly stars for the sex heat. Somehow, I need to be surprised or I need to read something new and incredibly hot. When I give a 3 or 4, it is still good, mind you but for me to get the 5, I must read something special. Guess what? I got it with Illicit Intent. I will not tell you what of course because i do not want to spoil anything but it was definitely hot enough for me to think: “finally a new sex scene I did not read before!!!”
I think the story was original and the plot was really nicely developed.
However something bothered me. It was the male characters. I did not connect. I did not like them much. I think because they made a certain decision and also lied by omission to her was a turn off for me. Sadly I did not find the puzzles fitting together in this story.
I always fell for the protective respectful but intense and passionately in love guy with the heroine. Sex is not for me a sign to be in love and it is not because the heroes make the heroine cum until she passes out that they are long-term lovable material. Some men are extremely talented in bed but nasty men outside the bedroom (same goes with the women by the way)
Erotic Ménage Romance. Three words.
- Erotic = sex
- Ménage = multiple, yet one entity
- Romance = love
So simple, yet so complicated obviously to use them equally in a story. Unfortunately, I did not feel much love from the heroes toward the heroine. Lust, definitely but not much love/passion. Do not get me wrong, you’ll get your happy menage ending. 🙂
Illicit Intent is definitely oriented erotic but with class. Although can we really describe sex writing scenes classy? I believe we can. I am not fond of crude words in each sex talk by the heroes to the heroine. I understand the complexity to be treated like a lady outside the bedroom and like a whore in the bedroom and even though it is not my thing, I understand the attraction and/or the physical reaction in chains that goes with it. Tina Donahue found a good compromise considering the line of work of her heroes.
I believe a lot of woman will relate to the heroine. Not because of her choice, but because of how she reacted. She wanted them permanently in her life and she did what it took to have them. Some will find her desperate, some will find her motivated. I think we are all different and there is no right or wrong. In certain circumstances, we act one way but with other people another way. Illicit Intent will stir some of your emotions, I have not doubt about it.
