My review: 5/5
Natalie Acres is well known for her BDSM menage stories. Sometimes she is into extreme BDSM (not into the sado-maso but more about domination & submission), sometimes she is into mild BDSM and this is where I prefer her by far. I started to read Bridled and Bucked when I realized something was wrong. The heroine made references about the “last year” and her men. It was obviously a sequel. So I went to Briddle and Brandled and started the story.
And what a story! The plot is incredible and the romance is incredible. It has been a long time since I read a book that intense. I LOVED that I could read each male character feelings. I got to know them very very well and that made it extra special. Most of the time, the male emotions are not very well described and there is always something lacking.
The story starts with a MF with a menage sex scene… then evolves to a true menage with 5 guys… to end with a menage with 8 guys. The sex was there but not on each chapter. It was just right, just appropriate in the story, well written. It is always difficult to write a menage with so many guys and no turn the story into a gang bang.
I just could not put down the books. And not only because of the romance. The plot was very very good too. Yes, it is another serial killer but plural. I turned the pages and thought: okay, what is going to happen now.
Book 3 ends with some questions so I wonder if Natalie Acres will give us another Briddle #4. It seems that some family secrets are still lingering…
Sometimes I fall for one of the male characters…. here? ALL 8 of them? THAT is rare indeed! And no doubt that I will buy the print as soon as they are out! If you never read Natalie Acres, you have to, trust me on that, you will spend an incredible moment reading this story and be prepared to take lot and lot of coffee as you may decide to do not sleep before reading the very last page! I honestly believe that Natalie Acres is at her best when she write menage with more than 2 guys!
Bridled and Brandled (MFM):
Lynlee Lewis is an old-fashioned girl who might as well take the lead in a modern day romance. She met a boy, when he was just a boy. She fell in love, but he barely noticed. Now, Lynlee wants to place a woman’s brand on Blaine McCain, but will his past prevent her from staking a claim? Lynlee’s storybook romance isn’t without its villains and obstacles. Add in the fact that Blaine rarely travels behind a bedroom door without company and Lynlee wonders why she’s so taken by the cowboy in the first place. Throw in a deadly situation and Lynlee finds herself in the midst of danger when a knife is shoved against her throat. Worse still, the man behind the blade is traveling with a wife who is no stranger to Blaine McCain. And they want to turn Blaine’s life upside down with a package full of problems.
Bridled and Sadled (MFMMMM):
Lynlee Lewis McCain is a woman in love, only she’s a little confused about who she’s permitted to love. She married a man she adored, embraced a lifestyle he introduced, and ultimately understood what it meant to become a wanted woman—in more ways than one. Hoping to keep Lynlee safe from a madman, Blaine McCain realizes he can’t move Lynlee completely out of harm’s way. After Lynlee is abducted by a serial killer, she becomes targeted by a lunatic, a madman reasonably distraught because Lynlee is the one who got away, the only victim who can identify him. After a short stay in the hospital, Lynlee returns to the mountains of North Carolina where the McCain brothers vow to keep her safe. Lynlee soon discovers there are several men willing to die for her, but there’s also more than one lunatic interested in seeing her dead.
Bridled and Bucked (MFMMMMMMM):
Lynlee Lewis McCain is a targeted woman. Unable to understand why she’s another madman’s bull’s-eye, Lynlee relies on the McCain brothers to save her. But after one lunatic is put to rest, there’s another one awaiting his turn—and he shows his face when he’s least expected. Blaine McCain wanted to love and protect his wife. In order to do that, he had to share her with those who were most capable of guarding her. Entrusting Lynlee’s life in the arms of his brothers and best friend, Blaine works with his family to help defend the woman he loves. Will the McCain brothers and Rhett Mitchell save Lynlee from a serial killer’s protégé? And what risks will they take to safeguard the only woman they’ll ever truly trust and love? Note: This book contains double vaginal penetration.
